What is it?

Composition

The composition of Zoloft includes the active substance sertraline, which provides the therapeutic effect of the drug. It is sertraline that affects the mechanisms of transmission of nerve impulses, correcting the imbalance of serotonin in the brain. In addition to the main component, the composition may include excipients that maintain the stability of the release form and the absorption of the drug by the body.

• Sertraline hydrochloride is the active substance that determines the main therapeutic properties of the drug.
• Microcrystalline cellulose - regulates the consistency and shape, facilitates the absorption of the drug.
• Sodium croscarmellose - promotes the release of sertraline in the body.
• Hydroxypropyl cellulose is an excipient to improve the texture of tablets.
• Magnesium stearate - used as a stabilizer and promotes easier swallowing.

How to use?

For maximum effectiveness, Zoloft should be taken as directed by your doctor, strictly following the recommended dosage. The tablets can be taken with or without food, with a full glass of water. It is important not to crush or chew the tablets before use, to avoid changing the rate at which the active ingredient is released.

1. Take Zoloft at the same time every day to maintain a steady level of the drug in your body.
2. Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor, as this may cause worsening of the condition and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms.
